      Constable Robin Rape

I was born in 1957 to Roberta and Bubba Rape.  My mother
was a school teacher for Brazosport Independent School District until she passed away in 1981.  My father was a small business owner and he has been in law enforcement for several years, the recently retired Marshal of Jones Creek, Texas.  My family has been in ranching for most of my life.  My sister is currently a teacher for BISD, and her daughter is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

I was born and raised in Brazoria County, in the same precinct in which I was elected to serve.  I graduated from Brazosport High School, where I was an active member of Future Farmers of America, Student Council, and an Exporter football player.  I also attended Brazosport College where I graduated, with high honors, from the Law Enforcement Academy.

I have proudly served as Constable of Precinct 1 in Brazoria County since January 1, 2001.  I am currently seeking re-election for my fourth term in office.

Prior to my being elected Constable for Precinct 1, I worked as a deputy for former Sheriff Joe King from 1994 to 2001.  Prior to my law enforcement career, I was a small business owner in Freeport.  I have also been a ranch-hand for several local ranchers, including my father.  My wife and I currently have a small cattle operation.

I'm happily married to Renee (Duby) Rape of Angleton and we are raising Cayla, a 2008 graduate of Angleton High School.

Renee is currently employed by Brazoria County as an official court reporter.  Renee is a 1986 Angleton High School graduate and received her Associate's Degree from Alvin Community College.

Cayla is a full-time employee for the Brazoria County  District Clerk's Office.
